I'm going to be hosting the TE Town Hall Meeting every month, and wanted to poll the members to see what day people would like to have it hosted. Currently, I was doing Wednesday nights at 8pm Eastern.

We'll bang out the day first, time slot next

Ill choose option 8. Any of the above

I'm going to guess that no matter what day its on its going to be inconvenient for some one. And different days and different times are going to end up with some different people.

Probably the only way to reach everyone is to have them at different times on different days every time, and even so , those that say Saturday at 5pm is a good time to have it might have something else going on on that particular Saturday

It really does not matter to me, but like I posted in the other thread:



The benefit from a changing time slot is not one of convenience, but rather a way to hear out everyone
Being a TownHall, reaching the most individuals would seem like the priority
No slot will be good for everyone, but by switching up you may be able to reach everyone , even if not at the same time

Doesn't matter to me - but does it have to be 8pm yank time?

Have you ever thought of holding 2 per month. One at the beginning of the month (Like the First Wednesday night of the month) and one in the middle of the month (like the second or third Saturday morning/afternoon). This gives those that work during the week (or who are in a time zone that 6pm to 8pm is 1am to 3am) a weekend option, and those that have weekend family obligations a weekday option.

You will never please everyone, but at least with options, there will be ess complaints.

Wednesday's are ok with me but I agree with Soren that they might be a little earlier for our overseas friends.

3-4 hours earlier would be great for me.

I said Wednesdays because it's easy to remember (SWAT night).

But yeah like the others said, it's gonna be tough to find a day/time that works for everyone. Some people are available weekends, others have family obligations then, so...really no perfect time. (shrugs)

Any Monday night AF meeting can easily be
made into a town hall meeting along with the
first Saturday AF meeting of each month


That way Jon doesn't have to keep chanigng
passwords to the SWAT room

Just pick a time, and go for it. No matter the day/time, it wll not work for everyone. And since the largest percentage of users is North American based, it only seems logical to cater to that timeframe.

Any day/time that isn't during football. (college and NFL). So I picked Wednesday.

Yes, I agree...Sundays and Mondays are no-no's LOL

Well I STILL picked Saturdays... And the only reason I suggested it in the other thread was that I think you'd be reaching 100s more than your bringing in now, but I do agree with Soren too. A few hours earlier would include alot more people as well. We have several that would attend more, but they are at least 5-6 hours ahead of us.
