I surfed some sites on ClicksMatrix tonight, and every now and then I would
have to open a new tab to deal with an email or admin thing.

I noticed the timer stops counting down if that tab doesn't have the focus.

Interesting idea, but know that most surfers surf at least 3 or 4 exchanges
at a time, I wonder how this will sit with the members.

I wouldn't expect my members on the Farm to always surf just one site
(although it's easier on the Farm because of the short timer).

Just thought it was an interesting thing to do to your timer and surfers.
Not saying it's good nor bad. Just interesting.

Rich, I been busy taking your advice and building.

Stopping the clock when members are not viewing your site !

Members can load the surfbar in a tabbed broser ( so can organise their surfing), but they must view the site they are viewing.

That is interesting and does bear thinking about.

I think you meant Bobby not Rich. Why does cashclicking take so long to load sites? I don't have that problem with any other traffic exchange except cashclicking. Maybe you out grew the server. With as many user as you claim Cashclicking has you need 5 or 6 dedicated servers. I have a feeling you are running all your sites on 1 server.

If you open ClicksMatrix in another window instead of another tab, the timer doesn't stop

Why not more strictly enforce the minimum time that a site must be viewed for?
If it helps improve everyone conversion, your going to get more traffic sales.

I disagree, nobody is forced to watch bad advertising on TV, or forced to listen to bad radio ads.

why should we be forced to see Victims ads, or Agloco or whatever this month's fad is?

good advertising will succeed whatever the timer does.

Yeah I completely disagree Ieuan, when you force people to do things, nothing positive happens.

The biggest fib about traffic exchanges is that unique traffic is important and that when you set the timer for 30 seconds, it provides a better quality page view than a 15 secnd for example.

Longer page views does not translate into better quality.

Jon, I was thinking like 3 seconds minimum Jon. Is that too short?
Perhaps 6 seconds ?
But, the same time for everyone.

Paul, you are forced to watch bad advertising on TV, else switch the channel and get yet more bad ads (This is a bit like tabbed browsing)
If you dont want to see lots of bad sites, use targeting or just more choice up front on one page like trafficswarm, hitmagik or (pixelotto.com - Alex Tews new site.)

There has to be a limit. I mean I have seen 5 second exchanges, and the biggest problem there is loading times. 10 - 15 seconds should load most pages for people.

I tend to surf ClilxMatrix and CashClicking less and less often than I might because their timers sometimes stop and they are long timers to begin with. I was just thinking yesterday that I'll stop using them.

Sure, I could open them in their own window but with so many excellent traffic exchanges, why bother? Neither of them provide stellar results in my experience and according to others, e.g., Traffic Hoopla, H.E.N.

I don't mind the 30 second timer on WebMasterQuest and EasyHits4u because they both produce results. I kinda like EasyHits4u too because it's so different from every other exchange--even with all those DonkeyMail ads. :P

Hi Ieaun, I'm not sure we're disagreeing.

A remote control means you aint forced to sit n stare at the same channel.

No one should be forced to sit n stare at Clicks Matrix.

If they've taken a stance against tabbed browsing they won't get any clicks from me.

If crap sites weren't out there we'd lose 70% of the biz, and splashes wouldn't be so effective. As long as I ain't forced to stare at it long I say keep the cr@p coming!

Oh, I'm not averse to a bit of HitMagik or Swarm. Swarm has been kind to me but I hear it ain't too effective for TE's so I imagine I'll use it less n less.

Hahaha, it's like having an unofficial newsletter this is for you isn't is Rich !

First check out this thread !!!

http://www.netmarketingforum.com/forum/ ... c&start=45
(Incidentally, in answer to the question on there Cashclicking uses nearly 2000GB and shows over 350,000 page views per day ! )

Then go here for mine ...

http://dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch ... matrix.com
http://dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch ... icking.com
(And yes I must add a PTR )

In answer to that TIMER rubbish, not that it is any of your business Rich, and it is a semi secret , but it is not stopped by different browsers - WHAT NONSENSE !

The actual timer is a background server function called TIME.

This is the clock that runs on EVERY computer and server in the world, and is unalterable by any browser that exists !

Thank you for not asking me in private - again!

PLUS - you can click after 20 seconds !

PLUS - Free Members get 1:0.75 surfing ratio in our new premium members area .

(Not on the menu, you have to FIND it - The site is called THE CLICKS MATRIX - This area is a TE within a TE - With higher surfing ratios for free, paid and premium members) .

This is HIGHER than every other working viable traffic exchange.

I would put Clicksmatrix up against ANY traffic exchange in the world today - AND WIN !!! It is the best - AND IS GETTING BETTER !!!

Now please Jon, do me a favour and close this post, and change your HEN news, thanks.

If you ask me in private I can PROVE it cannot be stopped by any browser.

I will send you a WORKING answer !

The ACTUAL TIMER ITSELF !

Test it to your hearts content, and then close this silly thread !

( Working Timer only available to Traffic Exchange owners who promise to be discrete and not reveal it's workings and who will after seeing that it must work - have a good laugh at Rich's expense ;) ))
