I just got this from a reader to Hit Exchange News, and it was sent via the PM system at TS25:

*****************************************************
In addition, I live in Mexico, and I pay two
women to surf for me, to keep me in Ts25 SYN#1,
LinkCrews Crew 1, and several others. This paid surfing costs
me 30 pesos per hour, or about USD $270 for 72 hours/week of
surfing. It turns out that this is a great value for me.

******************************************************

I'm not naming names, and I'm not playing the 'drama' game here. However I'm very concerned about this. I'm not sure what to think really.

This brings up something that was debated in NMF years ago with Jeff Trumble of WMQ. Is this accceptable for other people to surf for you? I'm not naive enough to think it doesn't happen but I wanted to see what other members thought of this...

Its quite expensive really... if it was cheaper I may have considered it..

ONLY JOKING !

It happens with massive online games like WOW, where you get a paid service to power level your character.. very hard to track down. Only real solution is to put a daily limit on surfing, but then that goes against the spirit of an exchange...

I have no answers, but I am not suprised by what you wrote....

Personally, I see it as a form of cheating. I don't care if the person pays someone to surf for him/her. He/she is not personally viewing the pages, or purchasing credits as others do.

If he/she can afford to pay someone to surf for them, why not just purchase the credits? And "traffic exchange" still means that you view someone else's site, and they view yours in return.

Because he's doing it in the exchanges that you have to surf
a lot in to get big credit bonuses.
TS25, Link Crews, Royal Surf etc.

Personally I think it sucks..and is cheating and I don't care which
big name is doing it.

If it's who I think it is, I'll be cancelling out several programs.

Not to mention unfair to those of us who actually do our own surfing.

I don't allow it. I allow husband/wife sort of sharing where they run a home business together but other than that only you should be surfing under your account.

It's not M.F... it says he lives in Mexico... I think I know who it is and he is a fairly new member of the forum.

The individual ought to be reported to the owners of mentioned exchanges. He oughnt to be publically recognized so other exchanges can also cancel his accounts. There is no real way to stop it, but we can stop this guy.  :!:

{Edited by me to take out some 'high energy' words :)

Playing the devil's advocate a bit here....Is this person also buying credits or upgrading in the exchanges? (do we know?)

Speaking of M.F. who does pay someone to surf for him....is that considered cheating?

Curious as to other's thoughts....

What if he is buying credits and upgraded in exchanges....it is OK? If he is doing it, it sure diminishes the value of surfing for a lot of your members. Wonder how many thousands of credits they are burning up of good, surfing members. They are bad no matter if they are K.A. or anyone else!

Cheers!

Well if he is paying these people thirty pesos a day to surf that is not much and makes me think that women are surfing as a means to put food on their table- not the sort of person surfing that would buy anything as they wouldn't have disposable money. He ought to buy credits from the exchanges if he does not want to surf. I am not even going into the morals of paying people subsitance wages so he can profit off it.

MF doesnt pay someone to surf exchanges, he has an employee that assigns credits and urls, and to send safe list messages he buys credits.

If he did that i would be on his ass, about it

Robert

PS: try K A

That is how some view the world...screw all of them....if it makes me a dollar. This ought to be moved to the 'Rant' thread. That's actually how they feel about their members.....screw 'em they'll make me rich!   :!: :!: :!:

He ought to be invited over to defend his screwing exchange members.

Edited by me to take out a 'high energy' word  ]
