Welcome to the newest issue of Hit Exchange News!

Some people live and die by the numbers. Hit exchange advertising is such a numbers game. There's many factors that can determine the effectiveness of a hit exchange and by looking at some simple stats you will begin to get a good idea on what works and what does'nt.

I track EVERYTHING! From banner hits to hit exchange traffic, I'm a firm beleiver in finding the numbers out for yourself. Sure, you could always just go by a Top 10 list in H.E.N., but there's nothing better than finding out for yourself. Tracking your hits in the exchanges takes a small chunk of time and the rewards can be huge. However, you never seem to hear any of the so called 'guru's' mention this. They are too busy trying to get your e-mail address and telling you to 'build your list'. Yes, building a mailing list is very important but what about the actual RESULTS. This is why I'm going to go against the grain and say, tracking your results should be one of the first things you should do online.

Tracking your links is very simple and very affordable. To track a link, all you do is replace the URL you are currently promoting in your hit exchanges, with your new custom link tracking URL and presto, you've got yourself some numbers to work with! The majority of the time it can be done for free and again, takes very little time. First, get yourself a quality link tracker. There's dozens of these on the market and I will mention a few.

I use TrackerLinks, not only do I use this service, I absolutely live by it! I spend more time in my TrackerLinks members area looking at numbers then I do checking my e-mail. Their service is not free, but you can sign up for a dollar and check it out for the first month. Hands down, this is the best in my opinion!

While TrackerLinks does cost money, there is one that comes to mind that is VERY effective and 100% free. it's called Results Tracker. This is a FREE link tracking service and does what it's supposed to do. Their system is easy to use and not only can you track links, but you can also promote this and build a contact list, convenient huh? =)

You can choose either one of these and accomplish something very important to your hit exchange advertising. You will be able to find out what delivers the goods, and what does'nt. This is VERY important if you want to start buying traffic, there's no point in spending cash at an exchange that delivers a hit a month, that's wasted cash and valuable advertising resources!

Remember, while H.E.N.'s Top 10 does report to you each week on what exchanges have delivered, I highly recommend that you get into a habit of tracking your links. Again, it's a cheap system to use and best of all you will be able to see what has been working in your hit exchange advertising and what has not. Don't take my word for it, give link tracking a shot and you will be pleasantly surprised at what you can find out! I thank you very much for being a subscriber and happy tracking! =)

I e-mailed their customer service which they appologize for the 'trouble', but the next day...I received another pro upgrade renewal form. Want some stats? I received almost 100 hits from Zoom Blaze this week, and it was 1% unique traffic...Yes, I received 1 unique hit out of 100.

• One thing that is important to do while using hit exchanges is to be organized! With so many programs and so many options to receive traffic, it can become quite a hassle. Want to maximize your surfing, and spend less time doing it? Check out TXLauncher! The launcher is one of the original 'tools' dedicated to maximizing your online surfing experience. Built on the concept of 'less time wasted, more time surfing' TXLauncher is a favorite for a great deal of exchange users worldwide.

• The good old boys at RX2 Group have launched a brand new 'rating' site, properly titled RateIt.us. This is a very neat little directory / rating program as it blends many different categories into one central location. What's so special? Broader categories = Broader audiences...So not only can you rate and review H.E.N. (hint hint nudge nudge) you can also rate your favorite website in a multitude of categories.

• TrafficRoundUp has moved databases and has a nice new look to the members section. Be sure to re-enter your URL's in your account to get your traffic rounded up again! There's a few new options in the system too, banner impressions and real cash payouts are avaliable in your members area!

What makes Traffic G work? Simple surfing, simple (but effective) cheat prevention, and effective advertising.
