Welcome to the newest issue of Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'. I've decided to name my weekly editorial / rant / opinion as 'One To Click On by Jon'. Why? Opinions are important, opinions are what makes free speech work. This is an industry that has thousands of opinions, but not alot of avenues to voice them, hopefully you find mine interesting and please let me know yours...I love hearing from everyone and again, appreciate your subscription! I read a very interesting article yesterday from a very prominent exchange owner. Their message? Hit exchanges are dying and will be extinct soon! First question I asked myself was is this an exchange OWNER claiming that these programs are dying...Hmmmm? Something's not right?

Do they have a point? Is all this clicking worth it? Are people using these things or just cheating the systems? How can I be sure my efforts are being well spent?

Folks, let me guarantee you one thing, if for a second I feel that hit exchange advertising is failing, I will let you all know and stop H.E.N. that day! Do I see this happening? Not a chance! This form of online advertising is just getting started and it is paying my bills, plain and simple, it's real, it's here and it's effective.

Yes, there's always going to be cheaters, and yes there's always going to be people that click to click and never look at any websites. So what? There's cheaters everywhere and in every industry, look at pro sports. These million dollar atheletes that use steroids are 'cheaters', but I guarantee you that on Sunday, there will be pro football being played all across America!

It's how we as users and owners adapt to the industry as a whole. Do we run and hide if we don't get a referral in a week? Or do we buck up, re-evaluate our position, and keep on chugging?

This industry is only a few years old folks, there's going to be up's and down's. Some days you will recieve a dozen new referrals, some days you won't recieve a click. As well, hit exchange owners are becoming more creative each day, new programs I see coming online have some great concepts and ideas that are sure to make them a success. Support is becoming a biggest concern and the ability to deliver it in a professional manner. New programs are being released that supports and has been created exclusively for hit exchange advertising. It truly is an exciting time.

There's no secret to this, it takes hard work and a lot of time! It won't happen overnight but if you continue to use the exchanges, surf them and promote them, you will experience what I do...Real money from your online businesses (without the hype!)

Hit exchanges are here to stay! =)

• Have you read the newest e-mail from Top Surfer? Get this, you have a chance to win a hit exchange that they are planning to 'let go of'. Regional Hits will be your prize folks if you win this contest of theirs. Regional Hits was a program they launched some time ago. It's a program that sets up country by country targeted traffic. Good concept but this was obviously a failed attempt by the owners of TopSurfer, so is this worth it? Let's see, I'm sure there will be a healthy database of email addresses but what about hosting? The servers? The support? Will that be included? We shall see...

• Remember that 'auto credit' program I mentioned a few weeks ago, that stirred up quite a storm in the industry as it showed that the majority of programs online were not cheat proof. Here's some more 'interesting' news. The company that owns and operates this cheating software has a program called HitsLottery. They say for $15 you can be guaranteed 1,000 hits or win up to 100,000....Guess where their hits are coming from? Yes, stolen traffic =(

• Here's something that will not only help a lot of exchange owners understand surfer's habits but something I think is a very interesting 'battle for supremecy'...What's your favorite browser for surfing the hit exchanges, VOTE here!. Very interesting stuff =)

• A very cool new site was introduced to me this week that is sure to help out all hit exchange users. Manual Traffic Surf is following in the tradition of NewStartPages.com but reports on manual hit exchanges only. They have a really cool little newsletter that goes out as soon as new programs are launched plus some really good tips and tricks. Very useful for keeping up to date on brand new programs!

Bra Start is the first of these programs and the owner has made avaliable their script for commercial use. So where does the original fit in? Is it still effective now that there's so many similar scripts online? Absolutely, and this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of shorter timed exchanges.

Bra Start is a 10 second exchange, so if you want hits FAST, this is the place. Add the fact that it's a 1:1 surf ratio and you can see that your credits don't last very long. Bra Start is great if you want to promote a brand new released program and get it seen first, this is the secret to success with this program.

While it may be quick, your unique traffic will be much lower then on other hit exchanges. However don't base your advertising on it's low uniqueness, Bra Start gets you hits. So yes, the original does show and prove, the script is very easy to use, you get good traffic and that makes it a winner!

*Bra Start Tip: As this has a lower unqiue traffic ratio, use a rotator to rotate through different sites. And yes, there is an auto surf exchange as well...Don't even bother, the manual exchange is so much more effective*
