• Is it me or has Top Surfer done a complete 180? I've been noticing that hit delivery has increased over the past month. This was once a snail's pace for delivery and it has now become quite quick. This has always been a 'fun' place to surf but they never could seem to get rid of credits. However the future seems to be looking better for TS as hits are increasing and traffic is being delivered!

• I just recieved an answer from a support ticket I opened at Hit Pulse...10 Days, 11 Hours, 54 Minutes, and 40 Seconds ago. That just does'nt cut it! Plus the fact that they did'nt even help me out (a paying customer mind you), I am really disapointed with this programs absolute lack of support. How can they be one of the biggest exchanges online and have such horrible customer service?

"My question is how do I make my exchanges one of the best? Is there a guide to exchange managers out there some where?"

My reply;

Yeah, I wish there was. The best resource for learning how to create a good exchange is by asking questions =)

What you need to know about exchanges is that it's a service, yes you can make money from them, but the reality of it will actually have you paying more than you make initially. Which is fine and is to be expected in business, but this is not told to you when you join or create one. I'll tell you right now, I own 2 exchanges with a combined membership of 40,000 plus and I'm not rich...Very far from it actually but it does pay my bills. So there is hope.

Something that is becoming popular with exchanges is the 'concept' exchange. For example, I have a theme with my exchange where I take on an alter ego (crazey jon) and play on that. There's many different kinds of exchanges and it's important to have fun when coming up with something unique. Remember there's hundreds of different exchanges on the net and you have to attract repeat customers. Give them something that's useful and unique, you will have them for life.

Also, it's so important to treat your members like gold. Even if they have never spent a dime on your program, they are still a member. And these members can either make or break you. Give them all the service they require

Over a year ago, Traffic Run started something that was unheard of in the exchange industry. Actually they did a few things but the first thing they did was make it possible for you, a free traffic exchange member, to make money from their program.

Yes, if someone in your downline upgraded you got a percentage. Some may argue this, but I can't think of any exchange before this that offered these kind of commissions. Traffic Run is also the original A Script traffic exchange. Arguably the most popular commerical hit exchange script, Traffic Run has it all. A start page, an exit exchange and a pop under exchange, all under one roof!

Traffic Run is also one of the most active programs online. Your sites are viewed by a high number of unique visitors and credits are spent evenly. You will not use 40 credits one day and 600 the next, you can tell that it's very balanced and definately a good choice for long running campaigns.

The only thing wrong with Traffic Run (and it's not really a problem) is that their site design has'nt changed since it began. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it, but a fresh look may not only get even MORE people surfing, perhaps we could start to see some of those commissions increased. A steady performer and a great exchange!
