Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'.

Issue 23 is JAM PACKED with some great content. I'm really excited to have an exclusive interview for you this week, courtesy of Nick Martin. I've been a big fan of Nick's since the early days of LSN and it's been great to see how he's adapted and moved WITH the industry.

Being able to adapt in this industry is crucial. As many of you know, there was a bill passed in the States that has addressed the ever growing concern of spam. How will this effect us? How do hit exchange users adapt to this? The problem with things in life is 'comfort'. Something my father told me a few years back has always stuck with me, he said;

'When people get comfortable, change does not happen. When you are not ready for change, you will be left behind!"

The internet and technology for that matter are ever changing. Change is a good thing if you ask me and it provides new opportunities for everyone. The point I'm trying to make...Be ready to adapt! Keep your eyes open for new and interesting things! And don't be scared of change, embrace it!

• Congratulations are in order to the entire MPAM community, as the membership has now surpased 1 million members. Not too bad for a program that was released in August of 2001. Congratulations to Michael Russell and the entire MPAM community!

• Sign of the times or just a really good advertising ploy? Looks like Traffic Run is up for sale on eBay. Interesting enough, the asking price is a little steep to say the least. However, this is one of the better exchanges online and it would be a shame to see it change owners and potentially loose it's 'kick!'

• Something that really helps an exchange is a re-design. Some exchanges update their content on a regular schedule, others have gone years without changing a thing. Wolf Surfer is a unique exchange. Not only has this exchange become quite popular and effective, but it has recently had a facelift and looks great! Definately a sleeper, but those that are members already know it's effective!

• The forums have been acting weird for the past 24 hours. I am working on it and they do appear to be online but then go offline all of a sudden. I am aware of the problem and working on it, I appologize to all the NMF members.

"When is the best time to promote your website on hit exchanges?"

My reply;

I've been really interested to know when the best time of the day to surf is as well. What I have found is that between 5pm and 10pm EDT seems to be the best time. This has the most user activity and definately gets the best diverse traffic. For example it's late at night in Western Europe at this time and early morning in the South Pacific. So while it does'nt hit everyone's time zone perfectly, it does capture a lot of users at once =)

It's a good program! A quick 10 second timer does'nt seem to hurt it's performance as Hit Snapper is very interactive. You can actually surf and chat with fellow 'clickers' while you surf this program and I have recieved quite a few subscribers, by simply chatting it up. What makes surfing this program so good it it's ease of use. It's a quick timer and quick loading surf bar.

Hit Snapper delivers the hits. If you want a ton of traffic, quick, this is the place. However, I would totally suggest you create a fast loading page to promote your website in this program. It's such a quick exchange, you will want a fast and eye catching splash/doorway page to be seen in it.
