Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'.

Pet peeves. We all have them and I thought I'd share some of mine. Hopefully you will all get a chuckle or two out of these. Again, my favorite saying is 'It's not a job, it's an adventure!'...The following are some reasons why I love that saying! =) =) =)

Pet Peeve Number 1 I understand that owners want to maintain a level of quality and take a strict stance on broken URLs, etc. I find nothing more frustrating than my URL's being deleted and not a single e-mail that lets me know that the links have been paused or deleted. And it's never for frame breakers, or excessive pop ups, it's if the page does'nt load *LOL* Message, the website will return, no need to delete my URLs.

Pet Peeve Number 2 Wow, another 'special'...Great! I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's no need to send me an e-mail, everyday (sometimes more than once a day) to let me know about your 'amazing' offer. Want to know a little secret? The best exchanges on the net, rarely ever send an e-mail about a 'special' credit offer, they let their exchange do the talking. Make sure your exchange is ACTIVE before you start flooding my inbox!

Pet Peeve Number 3 For the exchange owners out there, does this ring a bell? If you are going to sign up for something, DON'T put me in an auto responder. *LOL* How annoying is it when you get a new customer and the email address they give you is an auto responder? Wow, it's frustrating!

Anyways, that's my rant for the week. I had a few phone calls this week from very respected owners and it was great to hear from everyone via e-mail as well. I hope you continue to enjoy your hit exchange experience and please do not hesitate to drop me a line if you have a question or comment!

• Oh Jon, boy are you forgetful! I appologize to eveyrone for the sudden disappearance of H.E.N. and NMF (Net Marketing Forum) over the past few days. It seems that goDaddy (my domain registar) seems to have forgotten to send me a note, letting me know that my domain expired...In November! So presto, my websites disappeared for 48 hours. "I've noticed you don't talk about Auto Hit Exchanges, is there a reason why?"

My reply;

I actually did a 'One To Click On' about Auto Hit programs, and you can check it out here!

In a nutshell, they don't offer anything of value. The arguement I've heard is that auto hit programs increase your Google ranking, and that's fine but at what cost? The bandwidth that these things use is remarkable, that's why there seems to be a dozen auto hit programs closing down for every new one that is launched. And as for Google, do a search for 'Hit Exchanges' and see where H.E.N. ranks. This was done by simple submissions, no need for auto anything =)

It's a tough debate because auto surf users really like these kind of programs. Personally, I think it creates more buisness people plagued with L.S.D. (Lazy Surfers Disease) not to mention the fact that your site is being viewed by...Nobody =)

This week's review is on one of the best 'sleeper' exchanges on the net. Eternal Hits is an older program that was released some time ago and has quietly and effectively become one of the most reliable exchanges online.

If you are a fan of Traffic G, then Eternal Hits is sure to please. It is owned by the same folks who run Traffic G and recently re-designed their surf bar to be identical to Traffic G's. Before, it has a color coded system that allowed you to choose between 2 'credit' options. After 30 seconds, you would earn a hit, but if you waited 60 seconds you would earn a hit plus an entry into their weekly drawing. With this option gone, it appears you get entered into the drawing after 30 seconds now.

Eternal Hits is a fast exchange. You can go through a big chunk of credits in a limited amount of time but this also hurts the unique percentage. It's a 30 second exchange so the traffic is good, but more users surfing this program would make a 'good' program, great! That the only flaw I can see with Eternal Hits and week in and week out it continues to perform!

New Exchange of the Week - Boom Clicking

Sometimes I do not understand the way program owners 'launch' something...Case in point, remember ToolBar Traffic? Was'nt that supposed to be launched months ago? So here comes a new program called BoomTraffic. First impression is wow! Very nice site design, easy to understand layout and multiple ways to advertise (hit exchange, banner exchange and text exchange). Problem? They are in 'pre-launch' which apparently means you can promote this program but cannot surf it. Not sure why they did this, but I guess it's to build some kind of hype. Anyways, if they speed up the 'pre-launch' and get people surfing this looks like it has the potential to be a very popular program. *crosses fingers* Check out Boom Clicking!
