Happy holidays from Hit Exchange News! It's that time of the season again and I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. LOL I have to laugh, Thursday seems to be the worst day of the week to publish HEN. Let's see what happened this past year...There was a blackout on a Thursday, I vacationed on a Thursday and missed an issue and now next week Christmas day falls, on you guessed it, Thursday!

There won't be an issue of HEN next week but I will publish one for the following Thursday (New Year's Day!) LOL Wow, what an eventful day of the week huh? I like Thursdays because it reminds you that there's only one day left before the weekend, and Friday's seem to go by so fast for me....

Anyways, enough about the days of the week...I recently had the surf bar re-done on the hit exchange that I co-own. It was said that this exchange was very cheatable and did not have high quality visitors. Now I have added cheat prevention but I can almost guarantee cheaters will still find a way. In my last 'One to Click On' of the year, I just want offer an observation I have had. It is the obsession some owners have with cheat prevention.

There's a few exchanges that do it right, provide effective cheat prevention but it blends WITH the program. Others, seem to absolutely want you to SUFFER while you surf. Folks, I'm surfing for credits, I'm not trying to recite a poem. No need for me to put a bunch of numbers in every second website I view! This is scarring people away.

Yes, cheating hurts hit exchanges, yes it lowers the quality of the page views BUT there's got to be a healthy medium. Provide it, just don't base your entire exchange around those 'type-in' anti-cheat codes. Keep is Simple...but effective! Let your members surf with ease...Please!

• Traffic Olympics has been tested and banned for using steroids! LOL O.k., that did'nt happen but apparently they caught some heat for using the Olympics likeness. No worries as they have re-launched their website to now become Traffic Meet. Seemless transfer and everything is still looking good in that camp!

• Very good promotion going on over at Start Blaster. Now until January 1st, they have increased their surf ratio to 1:1. Not a bad deal for you hardcore clickers and a great idea to keep your membership active...Exchange owners that have big inventory, this could work to get your members surfing more? No?

"What is your favorite hit exchange? Which one to you spend the most time on?"

My reply;

I actually don't have 'one' favorite exchange. I think different exchanges are the best for different reasons. For example, if I want my website shown FAST and to a large number of people I would put it into an exchange like Hit Pulse. However if I was more concerned about longer page views and steady traffic I would put it into WebmasterQuest. Also if I want a BROAD audience I would click a lot in Click Thru. It really depends.

What's important to know is that different exchanges are good for different things. But it's a MUST to keep yourself active in a larger number of them. The old saying, don't put your eggs in one basket holds so much truth. Another thing, just because an exchange is a newer program, does NOT mean it's not as effective as a 'big boy' exchange.

Find what you want, whether it be longer page views, or higher exposure!

Before I start with this little feature, I want to make one thing clear. These are very good hit exchanges. The title of this article just means, they may be on your daily 'click list' but most likely are not. These are some exchanges I've been watching for some time and have been impressed with not only their ability to deliver a quality product but show again, that newer exchanges can always run with the big boys!

Easy Hits 4 U - Never to be confused with that dead horse they call EZhits4U, this rather new exchange has been turning heads for quite some time. Always scoring big points for quick delivery and unique site design, EasyHits4U is a great addition to anyone's daily exchange surfing!

Get My Traffic - Yes, it's owned by the same folks who basically started the whole 'randomizer' movement. Yes, you will see alot of randomizers when you surf it. Yes, it works, yes it delivers great traffic and yes, you can tailor make any 'splash' page to fit in perfectly to this niche market. Plus, you've gotta love the logos!

Raging Bull - Here's another exchange that seems to slip under alot of radars but delivers the hits, every single day. What makes this exchange very unique is their credit winning program. Not only can you win credits in their exchange, but they also transfer winning credits to your account in Share Traffic. Very cool concept and if it's endorsed by Share-Traffic, a great way for owners to cross-promote each other's program.

Mystical Maze - Launched only a few short week's ago, this little puppy has got some bark! Unique, well thought out and most of all, fun! Try it once, you'll see how much fun you can have from a simple 'maze' and a whole lot of clicking!

What a good idea....It's such a shame when an exchange catches a buzz, like GTTrader did when it was first launched, but never lived up to the potential of what could of been.

I rememeber when this thing was getting ready to go live, it was HUGE. I think it was a Sunday at noon, is when the referral URLs became active and trust me, if you can remember, every single page being promoted was a GTTrader site. So what went wrong? How come one of the biggest 'hype machine' exchanges online failed the test? Simple, they forgot their grass roots!

This is a hit exchange, but when it was launched (along with CashClicking) it started a whole new wave of 'open market' credit sales. You could sell credits to other members and trade them on a trading board. It was great, you could get quite a good deal or two but this seemed to change when they turned from hit exchange into 'fantasy stock exchange' program.

Things have just never turned around at GTTrader, and while it does remain one of the more active exchanges, these people are trying to win a prize, not look at your website! Added to this is the super slow email support, again this is a great idea but it does not live up to it. Such a shame because this program could be GREAT!

New Exchange of the Week - Real EZ Traffic

Launched a few weeks ago, but then it was brought down until it could be properly launched, Real EZ Traffic was re-launched a day ago and it looks like it was worth the wait. The first thign that struck me is how well laid out the site design was. Easy to read, nice looking template and professional logo. The script? Great, it's easy to use and easy to understand.
