Welcome to the newest issue of Hit Exchange News! I'd like to welcome the hundreds of new subscribers that are joining us this week and welcome back everyone to the News. I'm having a great time publishing this e-zine and truly beleive it has been a long time coming. I thank you all for your subscription.
This week I wanted to talk about something very serious that has never been addresses with hit exchanges but seems to affect a lot of our fellow surfers. I myself am beginning to show signs of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and really suggest that everyone take a good look at your working space, posture and computer equipment.
This is not limited to hit exchange users, it effects a large percentage of the population and if not properly treated soon, could lead to some very serious conditions. I was very ignorant to Carpal Tunnel and now I am starting to pay the price. It's very scary stuff, but preventable and treatable nonetheless. It all starts with education folks =)
I'm no doctor and definately not someone who should be giving out medical advice, but this is the internet and there is a wealth of knowledge out there. Some sites I have found very useful will be posted below:
Folks, this is very serious so do yourself a favor, read about it, learn about and prevent it. Working on the computer is a great way to earn a living, but without proper posture and preventative measures, it can be painful.

The Web Award for most confused program owners has got to be given to the folks at Global Traffic Trader. Not only did they completely change formats a month ago, from open market hit exchange to investment 'game', but they stopped allowing free members to surf and earn credits?
Well I guess someone must have told them that without the free members in their program, it just was'nt the same so they switched back to allow free members to 'earn G$' this week. Confused? I know I was!

A word of caution! I have had a few emails this week concerning 2 hit exchanges 'Magnetic Hits' and 'Hits All Over'. Apparently these two systems are owned by the same folks, but what is interesting is the amount of 'special offer' hit packages you receive in your email. What is even stranger is when you try to delete your account, you will follow directions but it still will not let you delete your account.
This has happened to me as well and the only suggestion that came up was to change your email address in your account at those exchanges.

The owner of 1Heluva and ClickityCash is under HEAVY fire from some former members and is currently involved in a pending legal battle. There has been forums set up to 'discuss' the legal aspects of the programs and a private investigator has been hired to get to the bottom of it all. Read more about it here. Unfortunately, this will have a very dark shadow cast upon the hit exchange industry. Time will tell!

This week's results are based on traffic statistics (unqiue hits, page views, hits remaining, hits delivered) and if the exchange delivered results (sign ups). While this is very useful information, it is important to remember that just becuase your favorite exchange is not on the list this week, does not mean the exchange does not produce results. The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list here!
