Welcome to the newest issue of Hit Exchange News!

Wow...2 Months! 8 weeks worth of Hit Exchange news, reviews and interviews. Who would have 'thunk' it? As many of you know, this is a passion for me. I love putting together these e-zines for you and I am so happy with the response many have you send me each week! I'm so thrilled that you have chosen Hit Exchange News for your online business!

I get e-mails everyday, most of the time it's a quick note to say 'Thanks'! =) The other email I seem to get quite often is the 'Why did XYZ Exchange get ranked, and ABC Exchange was'nt on your list?'...Well folks, here's the way it works!

Hit Exchanges are a business. Whether it be a side job you have or it's your full time gig, when you own an exchange, you are providing a service for your members. The members are what make (or break) your program. Without returning and loyal members, the exchanges could never sell hit packages or pro upgrades (ie, how the owners pay for the servers and make a buck). The program makes the member happy, the member supports the program!

With that in mind folks, a lot of the exchange owners out there look at their members as nothing more than a mailing list! They don't care if you received quality traffic, all they want is your email address so they can upsell you on some 'hits' or some brand new forced matrix automatic spillover scheme. That does'nt work with me! I was so annoyed at getting email after email from some exchange, pleading with me to buy hits. The funny thing was, I had over 5,000 hits in my account that were'nt getting used. So why would I support you, when you don't provide the service you claim to provide?

The exchanges in my Top 10 list, the Bubbling Under list, and the Award of Excellence winners are the real deal. Yes, I monitor the speed of delivery, the effectiveness of the traffic, and the uniqueness of the hits, but I also monitor other things. I monitor the overall experience of being a member! Does this program answer support requests? Are my hits actually being used? Are new features added to benefit the member? Do the owners care about the traffic YOU earned?

The exchange does not have to have 50,000 members to be on the list, they simply need to show the members that they value their business. Now I'm not the guru of traffic exchanges by any stretch of the imagination, but I know what I like. I'm a member, just like you and I click for hours! I will always list XYZ Exchange on the top of the list if they VALUE to their membership! It's a simple request, but for a lot of the owners out there, it seems to be the last thing on their minds. When the owner CARES about their members, that is when the hit exchange becomes a very powerful advertising tool!

• EZYtraffic has been plagued with customer service issues for months now. This is one of the oldest exchanges online but for some unknown reason, refuse to answer support requests. Not to fear, instead of sending traffic, they have continued to send email after email of 'Buy more traffic here' sales letters. One has to wonder what goes through the minds of the owners. Here's a suggestion, instead of trying to sell more traffic, why don't the owners of this program concentrate on sending the hits in queue now?

3. Share-traffic.com

   A one time $19.95 payment gets you A LOT! 1:1 surf ratio, DOUBLE the winnings on the poker game (LOL you've gotta love that!), 1000 bonus credits, and $5.00 per pro member in your downline (free members earn $2.50). This is a great deal because it's a one time payment, no monthly recurring charges, and the ability to make some cash from referring people, is always a bonus!

Worst Pro Upgrades

1. EZYtraffic.com

   Oh the price is great! It's a one time $14.00 charge...Too bad they don't upgrade you unless you go on the great quest to find the owners. Known for unresponsive support requests, EZYtraffic does'nt even upgrade their pro members? Hmmm, I wonder what they think of us free members?

2. ClixSwap.com

   Very weird set up these folks have. You can be a free member or a 'premium' member, but you still only get to promote one URL. There's no bonus credits awarded, BUT...You get to 'save your credits for 30 days'! Wow...What a deal at $19.95 a month?

3. 1Heluva.com

   Without getting into much detail, when you are sold a 'premium' service in 1heluva, you are sold a dream...And that dream is crashing now and it's too bad because 1heluva is a very good traffic generator (minus the 'get rich quick' scheme and all the other drama surrounding it).

No More Hits has a huge membership, this could be the the biggest database of members out of any program online and it claims well over 100,000 members. What does that mean? Your site will get seen by a variety of people so the traffic is very unique. Does that mean it's effective? To a certain degree yes, but not always.

It's members area is very easy to use and it is a great introduction for beginners to exchange advertising. They are not the quickest to respond to customer service requests but in all fairness they do have a lot of members to take care of. They also have an option to upgrade which does generate more traffic for you and gives you the opportunity to earn some cash. While No More Hits does not have the features of other major exchanges, it does provide the essentials. No More Hits has a 2:1 ratio, a 6 level referral structure, and a 'auto downline builder' which I have never benefited from (to my knowledge) in the 3 plus years I've been a member.

No More Hits is a good program and was definately an originator, hopefully it can continue to provide the quality traffic that's come to be expected of the net's first 'start' page program!
