TimTech Now Accepts Bitcoin Cash

Post by TimLinden » Sat Nov 25, 2017 2:56 am

Hey Everyone

We now accept Bitcoin Cash on most of our sites (only Trck.me/RocketResponder don't, but they will come soon). The easiest way to use Bitcoin Cash (or any cryptocurrency) is with a cell phone app, I prefer https://coinomi.com/

The way it works, you click the pay with Bitcoin Cash icon, it'll show you the QR code, you scan it with your phone and hit send! It'll then process "magically".

Anyways, I'm really excited about this. Bitcoin Cash is a 26 BILLION dollar market, this is a legit cryptocurrency so once we've tested this out the idea is to help other TE Owners start accepting it as well. The less dependent we are on Paypal/Payza the better!

Tim

PS. We are using http://acceptcrypto.io to process the crypto if you want to get started too!

Six ( 6 ) years ago, I told a few Te owners they should start excepting Bitcoin.

That went over like a lead balloon

That's pretty cool... will you use bitcoin for payouts also??
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... 'Wow! What a ride!'

Great news, Tim.
I wanted though to ask, without being judgemental - just curious, why did you choose Bitcoin Cash over Bitcoin?

Their about page seems to explain why BCH and a few other neat things I didn't know about.

I think acceptcrypto is just the payment processor that Tim has chosen to use. They are specialized, as it seems, for the moment
on Bitcoin Cash, so it is natural to praise it. I am still in a learning phase, regarding cryptocurrencies, so I cannot even raise an objection to what they claim! :)

Bitcoin (Core) has become a "store of value" vs a "transactional" crypto currency. So for the most part you use it for investing large sums of money or for transferring large sums. Bitcoin Cash however aims to be a transactional crypto currency.

The biggest difference is fees and processing time. Bitcoin Cash is low fee, fast processing and Bitcoin Core is high fee slow processing (which is fine if you are doing large sums of money, not if you are buying something).
