What's Your Favorite Form Of Traffic Generation?

At the moment SEO has been my biggest form of traffic on my blogs. But I've also had some decent traffic from social media.

In regards to building my list, I've had some good results from ViralMailers/Safelists.

I have a sneaky confession...Bringing back NMF is part of my SEO strategy lol

Reason being, I SUCK with anything search engine related....So I know Google loves forums and all the traffic they can generate. Here's hoping everyone can benefit from the SEO of this forum!

I would have to say of all the traffic generation strategies I've tried... Solo Ads is still my most high performing way!

I just have to say, I been using traffic exchanges for 17 years with much success.

I also am a heavy user of mailers. Bottom line - All of the above work if given true effort - focus, focus, focus

I love doing videos and writing as an inbound marketing activity so I try to maximize those as much as possible and email has been the most profitable channel for me.

I want to start using TEs again but this time I'll go the paid route, don't have time to surf although I'll probably do it from time to time to get a feeling of what people are into these days.

What's funny is, even with all the drama over the past year I still generate about a dozen leads a day from traffic exchange advertising only.

Just need to know the market and create lead pages that are remarkable.

You know what's even more interesting? That I have found some big marketers that straight out trash the TE industry when they are in public but will actually recommend TEs in their paid programs (in private) for building your lists. Hypocrisy at its finest but to each, their own.

In the past couple years Social Media has been the most effective Traffic Generator to our websites.
Facebook leads the pack and almost all is generated organically.

I am a cheapskate in my old age.

We do judiciously apply paid advertisement to some posts but they are very targeted.
One page has sent 288,309 visitors from Facebook to our website in past 12 months out of total of 492,100 Visitors
to the site, with a .05% bounce

Many of the mailers work really great for me. Chatting and surfing are also very important so people get to know, like and trust me.
