ESPN is bellying up.
Did you know cable customers are pay an extra $25.00 a year rather they like or not.
Even if they don't watch ESPN. The only way to get around it is to cut the cable or
downsize to basic, then you miss the movie channels.

The new model I'm sure will become PPV.

Maybe not in the next few years, but it's coming. Cable companies will figure it out and start charging you for what you want to watch, rather than subscribe to 178098 channels.

ESPN don't have a product, ESPN having another round of
laying off more employee's. Employee's are sending out
resumes just in case they get the ax.

Sport players are not and have never been hero's, except
for those who served in the military in the war zone.

Up here, we don't get the four letter network and in fact, cable doesn't even broadcast 'all' the NFL games each Sunday.

We have been forced to purchase an online streaming app called DAZN if we wish to view every game in Canada.

Many have, even with the sub par product DAZN is, so people (sports fan) will pay for what they want to watch.

I know I spend money every time there is a boxing match I want to see and to be honest, the thought of being able to 'pay a la carter' to see an out of market game without needing to pay big money for a monthly subscription, makes sense.

I stop watching sports years ago and started paying attention to politics who spends their
time trying to manage me.

For many, many could careless about politics, but make certain, politicians will manage you.
